Q: Where in the Westfield Franklin Park is Hour Backyard located?

A: We are located in the center of the mall on the second floor next to the Security Office.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Monday through Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm. Our hours vary during the summer and holiday season. Hour Backyard stops accepting children after 8:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 5:00 pm on Sunday unless with appointment.

Q: What are your age limits?

A: We accept children from the ages of 2½ and up.

Q: Can I fill out the registration forms for my children in advance of coming to Hour Backyard?

A: Of course! We encourage you to have the paperwork filled out prior to stopping in.

Q: How do I know my child is safe?

A: We always have teachers on site who are certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additionally, we are located around the corner from the mall security office. Also, there are security cameras monitoring our location. Your child can only be released to you or an emergency contact which you listed... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Q: What sort of activities will my child enjoy while they're at Hour Backyard?

A: Your child will be able to express themselves in our art center, explore new worlds in our reading center, and pretend and play in our child size furnished play house. We also have movies, video games, and a 9 in 1 mini sports activity center.

Q: How will you contact me if there is an emergency?

A: We will use your cell phone or pager to contact you. We also have a limited supply of short range pagers if you don't have a cell phone or pager. We require two extra contact numbers in the event that we can not reach you during an emergency.

Q: If the mall is closed on a specific day such as holidays, are you closed?

A: We are closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
